The Audacity Performing Arts Project lives its mission

Since its founding in 2012, The Audacity Performing Arts Project is debt free.

86% of all revenue goes to funding Audacity’s mission and directly serving students.

Audacity’s 2016/2017 operating budget was funded through 40% individual donations and 60% program revenue.

The Audacity Performing Arts Project lives its mission to serve those schools and communities who cannot afford to pay for them.

Every program Audacity produces ties directly to serving young people and generating revenue to fund our programs.

The Audacity Performing Arts Project produces after school plays and musicals in the following districts:

  • Milpitas Unified School District
  • San Jose Unified School District
  • Alum Rock Elementary School District
  • Franklin/McKinley Elementary School District

The Audacity Performing Arts Project is actively developing high school level student driven performing programs creating life history videos and staged events in the following school districts:

  • San Jose Unified School District
  • East Side Union High School District

General Financial Breakdown

  • Fundraising Costs (marketing expenses and processing fees) 2.5%
  • Management & General Expenses Costs (including all capital equipment costs) 11.20%
  • Programs Costs (expenses directly tied to offered services) 86.30%
